Take a look at these before and after pictures of the refurbishment of a car park for a major national shopping centre owner. MKA acted as project managers and designers, and the project value was approximately £1,250,000.

MKA was appointed to survey the roof, cladding, and glazing of a major sports and leisure centre in Surrey. This was to determine the cause of failure and also to act as an expert witness on behalf of the centre’s owners.

With this large retirement development in Oxfordshire, MKA were called in to undertake a complete roof health check by the developer and recommend remedial works along with providing complete supervision. The project value was approximately £250,000.

This project involved flat roof failure in the Midlands. We were called in by the building owners to undertake an investigation into the cause of roof failure.

MKA were appointed directly by Marks and Spencer™ to undertake a complete survey of their roof stock. Our commission was to be complete in a 12-month period and required us to survey more than 300 multi-roof stores, as well as offering a written report detailing the condition of the roof. We also provided the company with a five-year maintenance schedule.

We were selected by CBRE to complete a survey and report on the causes of leaks to the roof of a multi-site retail park. As part of our appointment, we were instructed to provide a detailed specification of remedial works.
